What's in it
The Lederhosen
Deep black forest brown, so dark it reads almost black until the light finds it. 100% leather, soft, and already carrying some patina.
The decoration isn't stitched on. It's worked into the leather itself. The motifs are raised, then the high points rubbed back so they sit lighter than the ground around them, which is why the pattern moves as he does. Across the chest bar, over the front flap, down the sides of the leg.
Tan leather piping outlines the flap. Stag horn buttons run down the outside of each leg. And a proper Arschnaht, the traditional seat seam. If you know Lederhosen, you know why that matters.
The O is embroidered in white on the Nickertasche, the small pocket that traditionally holds the hunting knife. That one's ours, for Oktoberfest.
Your shirt, brand new
A classic Czech shirt in his size, straight from the box. Traditional standing collar, long sleeve.
The Toni - blue and white chequered
The Gert - green and white chequered
The Sepp - red and white chequered
Stutzen and shoes aren't included. Most men already have their own, and the ones they don't are worth choosing themselves.
A note on the Lederhosen
These are pre-loved, and that isn't a compromise. It's rather the point. Real Lederhosen are built to be worn for decades, and the leather only improves with age: softer, deeper in colour, full of character. A broken-in pair carries character that takes years to earn, which is exactly why Bavarians hand theirs down.
These came out of our own wardrobes rather than a warehouse, so there are only a handful of each size. When a size goes, it doesn't come back.
Every pair was hand-picked by Mama Schnucki, same as everything else in the shop. Same quality, same hands that chose it, a more reasonable price.
Getting the fit right
Lederhosen sit differently to trousers, so we don't go by a jeans size. Send us three measurements, waist, hip and seat, and we'll match him to the right pair.
The shirt is simpler. Just his usual size, S through XXL.
Every piece is covered by our Size Fit Guarantee. If you're between measurements, reply and tell us the numbers you have. We'll tell you which pair to take.
One thing worth knowing
Don't wash the Lederhosen. Genuinely.
Brush off what you can, air them out, and let the rest become part of the story. Good Lederhosen are meant to be handed down, and every mark on a pair is somebody's night out. His will be too.
